KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Seven student-athletes on the Missouri Southern football team were awarded 2025 All-MIAA honors, the league announced Tuesday morning.
Wide Receiver
Draper Parker picked up All-MIAA Second Team laurels while all-purpose running back
Nathan Glades and linebacker
Zach Bergmann were both selected to the All-MIAA Third Team.
Quarterback
Tillman Martin, wide receiver
Isaiah Padello, linebacker
Colton Bass and defensive back
RJ Hill were all featured on the All-MIAA Honorable Mention Team.
All-MIAA Second Team Offense: Wide Receiver • Draper Parker
Parker paced the Lions with 47 catches for 595 yards and five touchdowns in 2025. The redshirt senior wide receiver from Sealy, Texas, averaged 12.66 yards per reception and started the season with a touchdown in each of the first three contests. Parker competed in all 11 games. He notched a season-high 100-yard game at Southwest Baptist on five catches.
The All-MIAA honor is the second for Parker in his career as a Lion after he earned Honorable Mention in 2024.
All-MIAA Third Team Offense:
All-Purpose Back • Nathan Glades
Glades led Missouri Southern on the ground, racking up 544 yards on 147 carries over 11 games this season. The redshirt senior running back from Joplin, Missouri, averaged 3.7 yards per rush, starting in every game for the Lions. He tallied five total touchdowns in 2025 including a pair of receiving scores. Glades also added 266 yards receiving, averaging 9.85 yards per catch. He concluded the season with 107 rushing yards against Washburn on Senior Day. Glades also opened the campaign with two touchdowns on 93 rushing yards in the win over Midwestern State.
The All-MIAA honor is the second for Glades in his career at Southern after he earned All-MIAA Second Team in 2022.
All-MIAA Third Team Defense:
Linebacker • Zach Bergmann
Bergmann paced the MSSU defense, totaling 100 tackles (49 solo, 51 assist). The redshirt senior linebacker from Rogersville, Missouri, also had five tackles for loss with two interceptions and a pass breakup. He tallied a career-best 14 tackles at Pittsburg State and had double-digit tackles in four games this season.
Bergmann, one of the Lions' senior captains in 2025, was named the MIAA Defensive Athlete of the Week on Sept. 2 after he registered a career-high 14 tackles (six solo, eight assists) in the win over Midwestern State.
The All-MIAA postseason honor is the first for Bergmann in his career at Southern.
All-MIAA Honorable Mention:
Quarterback – Tillman Martin
Martin threw for 2,506 yards with 17 touchdowns over his true freshman season in 2025. The Liberty, Missouri, native, had a quarterback rating of 136.90 and a completion percentage of 59.49 (188-for-316). He also added four touchdowns on the ground.
Martin threw for over 100 yards in all but one game this season and surpassed 200 yards six times in 2025. He was named the MIAA Offensive Athlete of the Week on Sept. 8 after throwing for 446 yards to lead the Lions to a 38-31 victory over Southwest Baptist. He completed 18-for-27 passing with four touchdowns and ranks second all-time for passing in a single game at MSSU.
The All-MIAA postseason honor is the first for Martin in his career as a Lion.
Wide Receiver – Isaiah Padello
Padello hauled in 25 catches for 431 yard and three touchdowns in 2025. The sophomore wide receiver from Mililani Mauka, Hawaii, started in all 11 games and averaged 17.24 yards per catch.
Padello caught a 34-yard touchdown pass from Martin as the opening half expired against Fort Hays State. He also registered a career-high 134 yards on five catches against Missouri Western. Padello notched a two-touchdown performance on the road at Central Oklahoma.
The All-MIAA honor is the first for Padello in his career at Southern.
Linebacker – Colton Bass
Bass tallied 52 total tackles (28 solo, 24 assist) for second on the Lions in 2025. The senior linebacker from Adrian, Missouri, started and competed in nine games this season. He picked up one tackle for loss, an interception, a pass breakup, a fumble recovery and a forced fumble.
Bass made a season-best 13 stops on Senior Day against Washburn. He registered eight or more tackles three times in 2025.
Bass earned All-MIAA Honorable Mention laurels for the second-straight season.
Defensive Back - RJ Hill
Hill posted 39 tackles (29 solo, 10 assist) with a team-leading two interceptions to go with five breakups and a pair of force fumbles. The redshirt sophomore defensive back from Kansas City, Missouri, competed in all 11 games with nine starts.
Hill totaled a career-high seven tackles against Fort Hays State.
He picked up MIAA Defensive Athlete of the Week honors on Oct. 20, after he recorded two interceptions, including a 70-yard pick-six, while adding five tackles (three solo, two assisted) to help secure MSSU's win over Nebraska Kearney.
The All-MIAA postseason honor is the first for Hill in his career as a Lion.
