JOPLIN, Mo. – Missouri Southern Athletics continues the transition period between fall and winter sports this week.
Volleyball has its final regular season matches as the Lions hit the road for contests at Pittsburg State Thursday and at Newman Saturday.
Women's basketball plays up in South Dakota for both of their season-opening games this week. MSSU faces Augustana University Friday before wrapping the weekend Saturday against University of Mary.
Men's basketball kicks off its season with the MIAA/GAC Challenge at home at the Robert Ellis Young Gymnasium. The Lions take on Arkansas Tech University Friday and Southwestern Oklahoma State University Saturday.
