Joplin, Mo. - The Missouri Southern women's soccer team hosted the Tigers of Fort Hays State on Friday, September 27. The Lions fell to the Tigers, 2-0. The Lions moved to a 1-4-2 (0-1 MIAA) record on the season.
First Half
Presley Whitmire and
Preslee Zeigler combined for five shots, three on goal, in the first half for the Lions offense. The Tigers added two goals within five minutes of each other to enter the half with the lead.
Second Half
Bella Smith had two saves in the remainder of the match, holding the Tigers to their original two goals. As the 90th minute sounded the final horn, the Tigers would pull out with the win.
