Joplin, Mo. - The Missouri Southern women's soccer team hosted the Lopers of Nebraska Kearney on Sunday, September 29. Both teams found the net and ended the match in a 1-1 draw. The Lions moved to a 1-4-3 (0-1-1 MIAA) record on the season.
First Half
Nathalia Luiz scored her third goal of the season off the assist of
Jilliana Reese to take an early lead. The Lopers would tie the match before entering the half.
Second Half
Sam Ayala and
Sofia Fatino both had a shot on goal in the second half. Goalkeeper
Bella Smith would have three of her seven saves in the second half to end the match in a draw.
