Kearney, Neb. – The Missouri Southern women's volleyball team travelled to take on the Rosella Meier UNK Fall Classic. Game one would be against the Oklahoma Christian University Eagles and game two against the University of Nebraska Kearney Loppers. The Lions would be defeated by the Eagles 3-1 and the Lopers 3-0. Moving to a 0-6 overall record.
Game 1: Missouri Southern (0-5) vs. Oklahoma Christian (5-0)
Set 1: Missouri Southern 21 | Oklahoma Christian 25
The first set would open competitively, neither team taking a heavy lead. Late in the set
Anny Montano's kill would even the score 19-19. The Eagles would find a last second rally to take the first set.
Set 2: Missouri Southern 25 | Oklahoma Christian 10
The Lions would answer to push a .393 hitting percentage with 14 kills. Late in the set
Anny Montano would restart the Missouri Southern scoring (17-10), and they would not give up another point to take the second set, 25-10.
Set 3: Missouri Southern 23 | Oklahoma Christian 25
Both teams would reach a deadlock at 20-20;
Alana Moesch would even the score. The Eagles would take the remaining points for the thirst set.

The Lions opened the set with a double block from
Fernanda Merancio and
Josey Goldberg to shut down the Lopers attack. Missouri Southern would push back but Nebraska Kearney held their lead.
Set 3: Missouri Southern 17 | University of Nebraska Kearney 25
Amelia Neels and
Josey Goldberg would push back-to-back double blocks to halt the Lopers offense. Nebraska Kearney would response to even the score. Both teams would trade points. A kill from
Anny Montano would close the deficit to one-piont, 15-14. The Lopers would answer to retake their lead and the set.
