Four Lions Named to 2024 CSC Academic All-District Team

Greenwood, Ind. – The 2024 Academic All-District Volleyball teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, were announced on Tuesday. Missouri Southern's Tori Hamilton, Alana Moesch, Kyla Randall and Sydney Unruh were named CSC Academic All-District honorees. 

The Academic All-District Volleyball teams recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the court and in the classroom.
 
2024 Academic All-District Volleyball Teams | NCAA Division II

Tori Hamilton
10 | Junior | Defensive Specialist | Overland Park, Kan.
Hamilton appeared in 27 matches and played 91 sets for the Lions. She posted 250 digs (2.75 digs/set), surpassing career 600 digs as a Lion. Hamilton posted 16 service aces over the season, amassing 50 total aces in her career. 

Alana Moesch
18 | Senior | Outside Hitter | Lajeado, Brazil
Moesch appeared in 28 matches and played 102 sets for the Lions. Moesch led the Lions in kills (281) and points (305.5), averaging 2.75 kills per set and 3.00 points per set. Moesch finished the season with 939 total attacks, averaging a 17.3 attack percentage. 

Kyla Randall
22 | Junior | Libero | Spokane, Wash.
Randall appeared in 28 matches and played 107 sets for the Lions. She achieved a milestone by surpassing 1,000 career digs, amassing 601 digs during the season. Her performance placed her second in the MIAA for digs per set, averaging 5.62. In addition to her defensive contributions, Randall also tallied 82 assists and served up 52 aces.

Sydney Unruh
9 | Senior | Defensive Specialist | Great Bend, Kan.
Unruh appeared in 28 matches and played 100 sets for the Lions. She posted 227 digs (2.27 digs/set), surpassing 500 digs in her career as a Lion. Unruh posted 16 service aces over the season.
