Edmond, Okla.– The Missouri Southern women's volleyball team traveled to take on the University of Central Oklahoma Bronchos. The Lions were defeated by the Bronchos, 3-0 and moved to an overall record of 4-20 and 2-20 in the MIAA.

Set 1: Missouri Southern 13 | Central Oklahoma 25
Josey Goldberg opened the scoring for the Lions with a kill. Both teams would trade points, until the Bronchos went on a three-point run, establishing a 6-3 lead. 
Fernanda Merancio responded with a kill to break their momentum. Throughout the set, Missouri Southern gained points from 
Amelia Neels (kills and block), 
Anny Montano (kills), 
Hannah Allick (ace), 
Kyra Thomas (kills), Goldberg (kills), Merancio (kills and bock) and 
Alana Moesch (kills). Central Oklahoma continued to add to their advantage pushing a six-point jump (22-12) and hold for the set.  
Set 2: Missouri Southern 21 | Central Oklahoma 25
Missouri Southern came out strong, putting the first points on the board with a block and kill combination from 
Fernanda Merancio (kill and block) and 
Amelia Neels (block) to take an early 4-2 lead. The Lions extended their advantage to three points with contributions from Merancio (kill) and 
Sydney Unruh (ace), pushing the score to 8-5. Central Oklahoma then went on a four-point run to reclaim a 17-14 lead. A final scoring push, with kills from 
Josey Goldberg and Merancio, brought Missouri Southern within distance at 23-21. The Bronchos maintained their lead, clinching the second set.
Set 3: Missouri Southern 18 | Central Oklahoma 25
Central Oklahoma struck first, jumping out to a 3-0 lead before 
Kyra Thomas broke their run with a kill. Missouri Southern responded with a 4-1 rally, highlighted by an 
Amelia Neels kill, a block by 
Josey Goldberg and Thomas, and an ace from 
Hannah Allick to narrow the score to 9-7. The Bronchos answered back with a five-point surge to regain their lead, 14-7. The Lions would break a Bronchos rally with 
Alana Moesch (kill) and combine blocks form Goldberg and Neels (18-11). Neels sparked a last-minute, four-point rally for the Lions, with contributions from Goldberg (two kills) and 
Alana Moesch (kill). Bronchos maintained their lead and secured the match.
