Joplin, Mo. - The Missouri Southern department of athletics has revealed a new website design for the athletics page (www.mssulions.com) powered by SIDEARM Sports. 

The redesign of mssulions.com includes a lot of the same features in similar locations, with a new look. The primary navigation has been moved to the top-left of the page, condensed into a "Menu" button. Once clicked, the main navigation items can be selected (Men's and Women's Sports, Inside Athletics, Recruiting, Facilities, Tickets, and an advanced search option).

Five stories will rotate automatically on each page, but can also be paused or manually scrolled through using the buttons in the lower right of the stories section. Additionally, a "See All" feature has been added below the story headlines, allowing users to easily access story archives. 

Previously located above the navigation bar, the composite schedule has been moved just below the stories section. Users can toggle between upcoming events and recent results in the upper left of the section, filter a specific sport in the upper right, and expand to see more games at the bottom. 

Two Lions will still be featured every week, sponsored by Towneplace Suites, found beneath the schedule area.

An area for photo galleries has been added below the Featured Lions of the Week section. The home page will feature all of the photo galleries, but each sport page will feature only their own. Fans can also check out our Flickr page by clicking the Flickr icon in the bottom left of the "Menu" section. 

Each page will contain a "Connect With Us" feature that provides links to each sport specific social media page when the specific social media logo is clicked. Posts from each team's Instagram page will also be highlighted in that section.
