Lincoln, Neb. - The Missouri Southern track & field teams wrapped up their competition at the Graduate Classic hosted by the University of Nebraska on Saturday. Three Lions hit NCAA qualifying marks on the day, totaling eight over the two-day event. Up next for MSSU will be the Washburn Rust Buster, taking place on January 20 in Topeka, Kansas. 

60m Dash

• Gabrielle McPherson placed 10th with a time of 8.01.

High Jump

• Luke Brumit jumped a height of 1.95m, good for 5th place.

Long Jump

• Caleb Manning finished 2nd overall, jumping a distance of 6.91m. Peyton McBride finished just behind him with a jump of 6.83m, good for 3rd. Taris Jackson placed 6th with a distance of 6.72m, and Devin Greene finished 8th at 6.69m, a personal best. 
• Gabrielle McPherson placed 11th with a jump of 5.17m. 

Pole Vault

• Mackenzie Moring and Holly Robinson both cleared the NCAA qualifying mark of 3.70m, tying them for 2nd place. That mark was also a personal best for Moring. Katie Candrl took 7th, clearing 3.55m.
• Bastien Franck jumped a personal best and NCAA qualifying mark of 5.05m, good for 2nd place at the meet. It also places him 9th in the MSSU top-10 list. Travis Greenfield placed 3rd after clearing 4.65m, a personal best. 

Shot Put

• Briar Gillum finished 3rd overall, 1st among Division-II athletes, in a personal best and NCAA qualifying mark throw of 14.30m. That throw places herself 7th in the MSSU top-10 list, and ranks 8th in Division II currently this season.
• Gabe Ford finished third overall and tied his personal best with a NCAA qualifying mark throw of 16.68m.

Triple Jump

• Taris Jackson finished fourth overall with a NCAA qualifying mark distance of 14.98m, the 10th best jump in Division II so far this season. Caleb Manning and Devin Greene went back-to-back at the 5th and 6th places with respective distances of 14.07m and 13.74m respectively. 

Weight Throw

• Mallory Huber took 4th with an NCAA qualifying throw of 18.24m. Briar Gillum placed 7th with a throw of 16.66m, her personal best. 
• Peyton Barton placed second overall, throwing an NCAA qualifying distance of 21.33m. Cedric Pearson and Gabe Ford went back-to-back at the 7th and 8th places, throwing 17.28m and 15.88m respectively.
