Inclement Weather Forces Schedule Change For MIAA Softball Tournament

| By:
Topeka, Kan. - The 25th ranked Missouri Southern softball program will have to wait until tomorrow to face off against No. 9 and third seeded Rogers State in the MIAA Tournament following rain and lighting delays today at the Tournament on Thursday, May 4th.

The Lions (37-11) and Rogers State (46-10) were supposed to play today at 6:30pm at the Envista Softball Complex but due to the weather that struck the Topeka area this morning that delayed the first game of the day the rest of the tournament schedule has been changed. Southern will now play the Hillcats on Field One at the Envista Softball Complex at 1:30pm on Friday, May 5th with the loser of the contest playing in an elimination game at 4:30pm against Washburn. The winner between the Lions and Rogers State will await the winner of the Central Oklahoma vs. Central Missouri game at 11:00am on Saturday, May 6th with a berth to Championship Sunday on the line.
