Hays, Kan. – The Missouri Southern women's golf team is in a tie for fourth place after day one at the FHSU Lady Tiger Classic held at Smoky Hill Country Club.
After 18 holes,
Julianna Washka is in second place individually as she shot 74 on day one. Washka had a pair of birdies over the first 18 holes.
Filippa Guldberg is in a tie for 14
th after a round-one score of 78, while
Kylie Carnes is tied for 38
th with an 18-hole score of 84.
Lily Allman shot an 86, while
Lucy Moss fired a 91.
Central Missouri is in the lead after day one by 14 strokes over second-place Northeastern State. Rogers State is third followed by the Lions, Central Oklahoma, Missouri Western, Barton County CC, Nebraska-Kearney, Fort Hays State, Northwest Missouri, Newman and Lincoln to round out the team scores.
The Lions will have a final 18 holes tomorrow morning as Southern tees off at 9 am from hole No. 1.
