Kansas City, Mo. – The MIAA announced its academic honors today for women's golf five different Lions earned recognition from the conference.
Iratxe Fernandez-Cano Aldasoro (3.36 – International Business),
Kenzie Kirkhart (3.45 – Business),
Maggie Moore (3.93 – Kinesilogy),
Madison Saenz (3.73 – Biology) and
Julianna Washka (4.00 – International Political Affairs) were all named to the Academic Honor Roll.
To be recognized on the Academic Honor Roll, one must have a grade point average used by the institution for purposes of NCAA academic certification of 3.00 or above at the certifying member institution. The individual must also have at least two terms of attendance at the certifying member institution, excluding summer terms.
Washka was one of eight women's golfers who earned the MIAA Academic Excellence Award. An MIAA Academic Excellence Award recipient must have a grade point average used by the institution for purposes of NCAA academic certification of at least 4.00 at the certifying member institution. The honoree also must have at least two terms of grades reported at the certifying member institution, excluding summer terms.
