St. Louis, Mo. -- The Missouri Southern women's golf team finished tied for fifth and Lily Allman was tied for sixth as the Lions finished out the Triton Invitational hosted by the University of Missouri-St. Louis at Norwood Hills Country Club.

The Lions shot a 317 in the final round, ten strokes better than round two to finish tied for fifth.

Allman shot five birdies over the 54 holes to finish at 233 and tied for sixth individually after shooting a 74 today, including three birdies to finish the tournament. Kylie Carnes was tied for 15th at 241 as she fired five birdies over the 54 holes, as well. Faith Davis shot a 247 with five birds of her own to finish tied for 26th. Kenzie Kirkhart finished at 249, tied for 30th, while Grace Garner shot a pair of birdies to finish at 254 and tied for 39th.

The host school, UMSL, won the event by a convincing margin. Lindenwood was second, followed by Trevecca Nazarene, McKendree and the Lions and Drury tied for fifth. Southern Indiana was seventh, followed by William Jewell, Rockhurst, Illinois-Springfield, Truman, Lindenwood's (B) team, Maryville, Davenport, Lincoln, Kentucky Wesleyan and Rend Lake CC to round out the team scores.
