Treghan Parker had two home runs and five RBIs as the Lions completed the sweep of visiting Winona State, 20-12 today at Warren Turner Field.
Southern (3-1) scored five runs in the first, three in the third, a run in the fourth, five in the sixth and five in the seventh as the Lions' bats continued to roll.
Parker picked up his first collegiate home run and followed it up with another as he went 3-for-4 in the game with five RBIs.
Tommy Stevenson picked up his fourth home run of the series as he went 2-for-4 with three RBIs, three runs scored, a double and two walks.
Matt Miller had a home run and a double as he went 3-for-6 with three RBIs and two runs scored.
Nate Mieszkowski went 2-for-4 with three RBIs, a double, a triple, a run scored and two walks, while
Clay Milas was 2-for-3 with three RBIs, four runs scored and two walks.
Jordan Fitzpatrick had three hits and two runs scored, while
Henry Kusiak had two hits and a pair of runs.
Jacob Davis started for the Lions and went five innings, striking out eight and walking just one, while allowing two runs to earn the win.

WSU (0-3) was led by Dane Weiland with three hits, four RBIs and a pair of runs scored.
The Warriors got on the board first with a pair of runs in the top of the first inning, but the Lions answered back with five runs in the bottom half of the inning. Stevenson homered to right center to drive in Fitzpatrick and Kusiak and Miller followed that with a two-run double scoring Parker and Milas.
Southern scored three more in the third as Parker started the scoring with a home run. Mieszkowski tripled home
Ryan Doran and Kusiak tripled home Mieszkowski. Parker singled home Milas in the fourth and Miller hit a solo shot to start the scoring in the fifth. Milas followed it up with a two-run single and Parker concluded it with a three-run shot.
WSU scored a run in the sixth and three in the seventh, before the Lions added five more runs in the seventh. Milas had an RBI triple and scored on a wild pitch, before Doran scored on a wild pitch, as well. Mieszkowski drove in
Will Larson and Miller to conclude the scoring.
Southern will be back in action on Thursday as the Lions start a four-game set in Florida. The Lions will take on Barry on Thursday at 6 pm ET, and will face Palm Beach Atlantic at 6 pm ET on Friday. Southern concludes the series with a double-header against Nova Southeastern on Saturday at 3 pm ET.
