Joplin, Mo. - The Missouri Southern softball team wraps up the 2019 regular season with a battle against No. 1 Central Oklahoma today beginning at 2:00 pm followed by a doubleheader with the Northeastern State RiverHawks at noon tomorrow.
 
The Lions (19-21, 10-12 MIAA) enter the final weekend in the 11th spot with Lindenwood and Pittsburg State tied for the eighth and final spot in the MIAA tournament with 11-11 records while Fort Hays State sits one spot above the Lions in tenth at 11-13.  
 
Saturday is also Senior Day where the 2019 class of four will be recognized at the conclusion of game two against the RiverHawks. The class includes designated hitter/outfielder Lexi Ferrari, pitcher Taurean Guzman, catcher Angel Badalamenti, and third baseman Ashley Caldarella.
