Kansas City, Mo. -- Missouri Southern Senior pole vaulter Emily Presley has been named the MIAA Women's Field Athlete of the Week, the league announced today. 

Presley vaulted to the top spot in Division II in the pole vault as she hit an NCAA Automatic Qualifying mark of 14 feet. She is the only person in Division II to top the 14-foot mark this season and in the process, defeated two of the top-three vaulters in Division II. Presley is one of just 15 women in the NCAA to hit 14-feet this year in the pole vault. 

Presley and the Lions will be back in action this week, splitting action at Central Missouri, as well as the Kansas Relays and the Mt. Sac Relays.
