Joy Udo-Gabriel earned the prestigious honor, being named the USTFCCCA National Athlete of the Week for her record-breaking achievements.

Joy Udo-Gabriel delivered a historic performance at the MIAA Championships, claiming the women's 60m dash title with a blazing NCAA-qualifying time of 7.13 seconds. Throughout this indoor season, she has rewritten the MSSU school record an impressive five times.
Her record-breaking run not only secured the conference crown but also set new school, MIAA, and facility records, while shattering the NCAA Division II All-Time Record, surpassing the previous mark of 7.18 seconds set on March 9, 2024.
The sophomore sprinter now holds the fifth-fastest time of the season across all levels on the USTFCCCA Top 25 Performers and Performances list.
With her sights set on the NCAA Division II Indoor Championships, Udo-Gabriel is proving to be a dominant force in collegiate sprinting, with the potential to continue making history on both national and global stages.
