Box Score 1 | Box Score 2 Durant, Okla. – The Missouri Southern softball team went 1-1 on day two of the Southeastern Oklahoma State Regional after earning a 4-2 victory over the Oklahoma Baptist Bison in game one before falling to host Southeastern Oklahoma 5-1 in the final game of the day Saturday afternoon.

Game 1
Both teams were scoreless until the bottom of the third where the Lions picked up three runs thanks to a couple of errors. They would score on another error as well, in the fourth to stretch the lead to four.

Freshman Natalie Hamm earned her first win as a Lion, limiting the Bison to only two runs and striking out ten batters in her debut on the mound.

Abi Corbett added a 2-for-3 stand at the plate with two singles and hit-by-pitch, while scoring and knocking in a run.

Game 2
Southern kept the momentum going as Corbett led off with a single and made her way home after stealing third and scoring on Shelby Friend's single. Corbett went 2-for-3 at the plate for two singles.
 
The Savage Storm began to make some noise in the bottom half of the fourth as they rattled off four runs, including a bunt single that plated two runners.
 
Abby Atkin recorded 3.1 innings on the mound, allowing four runs on four hits, while striking out six.
 
Third Day
The Lions conclude their six-game Regional tomorrow against Oklahoma Christian at 9:30 am and then a 2:30 match up with Cameron University.
