Joplin, Mo. - Senior
Alana Hester swiped her way into the record book as Missouri Southern Softball (22-25, 9-9 MIAA) split a pair of 1-0 pitcher's duels with Rogers State (17-25, 6-12 Heartland) Wednesday evening at the Pat Lipira Softball Complex.
Game OneThe record came early in the game as Hester lead off the bottom of the first with a single up the middle and on the very next pitch took off for her 100th career stolen base. Sophomore
Abi Corbett ground out to the third baseman moving Hester to third and following a shallow fly ball out to left fiend Hester scored on a bloop single to center from freshman
Angel Badalamenti for the game's only run. Rogers state would not get a runner passed second base until the top of the seventh as senior

Ashley Caldarella for the 1-0 win.
Lutz faced 27 batters in the seven inning shut out, allowing just the one hit with five walks and five strike outs. Hester, Corbett, Badalamenti, and senior
