Point Lookout, Mo. -- The Missouri Southern volleyball team fell three sets to none tonight at College of the Ozarks. Individual set scores were 23-25, 15-25 and 17-25. 

Southern (0-9) was led by Callie Whetstone as the senior had seven kills and two blocks, while hitting .267. Bridgette Jaeger had seven kills and three blocks, while Abby Finder dished out 18 assists and Katie Wiele had a match-high 15 digs. 

C of O (5-10) was led offensively by Logan Allen with 12 kills and a .421 attack average. Jamie Reaves had ten kills while Sarah Kreul added 17 assists. Lindsay Boone had 14 assists on the night. 

The Lady Cats jumped out to a 10-5 lead in the first set, but a kill from Monica White stopped the run. The Lions tied the set at 17, forcing a C of O timeout, but the Lady Cats pushed ahead and led 21-19. The Lions got to within onetwice and tied the set at 23, forcing another Ozarks timeout. The Lady Cats, however, scored the final two points of the set. 

Ozarks never trailed in the second set to take a 2-0 lead in the match. 

The Lions led 4-3 early in the third set and tied the set at 14 after a kill from Whetstone. The Lady Cats, however, went on to score 11 of the final 14 points to take the set and the match. 

Southern will be back in action on September 22 when the Lions travel to Drury for a 7 pm match.
