2014 - Started every game for the Lions... Whetstone broke the Missouri Southern single season block assists record (previously 115) with 150 block assists and 171 total blocks... Finished first nationally with 1.50 blocks per set and second with 171 total blocks ... Recorded 247 kills (2.17 pet set), 76 digs, 35 service aces, and six assists... Set her season high 15 blocks (three solo, 12 assisted) in a match against Central Missouri... Her season high 15 kills came in a match against Emporia State, where she also broke the record for block assists in a season... Whetstone finished eighth in conference in service aces (35)... Named Second Team All-MIAA, All-MIAA Academic Honor Roll with a 3.83 GPA, and MIAA Scholor Athlete.
2013 - Played in 27 matches for the Green & Gold...finished fourth on the team with kills at 143...finished second on the team with 80 blocks (12 solo, 68 assists)...has a season high 16 kills at Drury on Sept. 25 and a season high .778 hitting percentage vs. Central Missouri on Oct. 29...recorded season high in blocks with eight vs. Southeastern Oklahoma (Oct. 11) and at Lindenwood (Nov. 12).
2012 - Played in all 30 games for the Lions at middle hitter as a freshman... finished fourth on the team in kills with 139 in 95 sets for a 1.46 kill per set average...was second on the team in blocks with 47 (9 solo, 38 assists) while also tallying 16 digs...had a season-high 13 kills against Arkansas-Ft. Smith while recording a season-high seven blocks against Illinois-Springfield.
Prior to Southern - Started for two years for coach Cheryl Ballinger at Pleasant Plains High School. An All-Conference and All-county selection, Whetstone has been named to six-different All-Tournament teams.
Personal - The daughter of Dennis and Dina Whetstone, Callie plans to major in biology at Southern.
