Juergens and Melugin pick up All-American honors in day one of 2014 Indoor Championships

Winston Salem, NC -- The Missouri Southern men's track and Field team picked up a pair of All-American finishes today in the first day of the 2014 NCAA Division II Indoor Track and Field Championships held at the JDL Fast Track. 

Michael Juergens placed fourth in the pole vault with a height of 16-04.75 to finish out his career with an All-American finish. Brady Melugin placed eighth in a height of 16-00.75 to earn All-American honors, as well. 

Eric Schott just missed out on All-American honors in the 5k as the sophomore placed tenth with a time of 14:34.25. 

Jeff Fraley failed to qualify for the finals of the 60m as he pulled up with a leg injury and finished in a time of 6.82. He did not run in the prelims of the 200m. 

Darion Boure will be the lone Lion competing tomorrow in the final day of the Championships as he will take part in the triple jump.
