Fayetteville, Ark. -- The Missouri Southern women's cross country team had three runners in the top 11 of the college division standings and won that portion of the Chili Pepper Invitational today hosted on the campus of the Unviersity of Arkansas. 

Emily Harris and Dora Eastin finished 46th and 48th overall, but the pair were fifth and sixth amongst non-Division I runners. Harris completed the 5k course in a time of 17:39.3, while Eastin crossed the finish line in a time of 17:44.5. 

Dana Roberson placed 75th overall, while Sierra Gray and Kayla Bartelsmeyer placed 103rd and 107th, respectively. Lizzy Kirby was 128th, while Addie Mengwasser placed 145th. Kaitlyn Eibl was 240th, while Kelly Jo Roberts placed 258th. 

The Lions scored 60 points with all five scoring runners placing in the top 20 of the college division standings. Oklahoma City was second with a point total of 125, while Harding, West Texas A&M and Iowa Central rounded out the top five team scores. 

The Lions will be back in action next weekend as the team travels to Bolivar to compete in the Southwest Baptist Invitational.
