Herl had his second 300+ yard game this season when he threw for 307 yards and three touchdowns against Missouri Western ... Herl opened the game with a flea-flicker which resulted in a 56-yard pass on the opening play of the game to set up a field goal ... Herl had passes of 56 and 60, to go along with a 32-yarder and a pair of 20+ yard passes in the game
