Buerge earned MIAA Women's Track and Field Co-Athlete of the Week honors after having
a pair of Automatic Qualifying marks this past weekend at Angelo State.

She tossed her first Automatic Qualifying mark and broke an 11-year old school record by going 15.86m (52-00.50) in the shot put to win the event. The Webb City, Missouri native followed that up with another auto qualifier, a school record and win in the discus with a mark of 55.54m (182-03).

Her shot put mark is number two in Division II this year and her discus mark is number two, as well.
