Stokes led the Lions to a 3-0 week beating Northeastern State on the road before taking out Washburn and Emporia State at home.Â
For the week Stokes averaged 20.3 points, 6.6 assists, 6.0 rebounds, 3.7 steals per game while shooting 46.3 percent from the field and 77.3 percent from free throws. Against the RiverHawks scored 23 points while dishing out eight assists for the fifth time this season and pulled down seven rebounds while coming away with four steals.Â
Against Washburn finished with 18 points while providing seven assists and five rebounds while recording her fourth game of five or more steals this season. Closed the week with a game high 16 points to go with five assists and six rebounds against the Emporia State. The back-to-back victories over the Ichabods and Lady Hornets was the first time since the 2003-04 season that the Lions accomplished the feat and propelled the Lions into fourth in the MIAA standings.
For the season Lacy is leading the MIAA in assists, assist per game, steals and steals per game while ranking second in assist-turnover ratio and ranks in the top ten in field goals attempted and made, free throws attempted and made and points per game. Across Division II Lacy leads all freshman in assists, assists per game, assist-turnover ratio, steals, steals per game and fifth in points per game. In overall Division II ranks third in assists, assists per game, assist-turnover ratio and steals while being ninth in free throws made and tenth in steals per game.
