2013 - started in all 30 matches and played in all 111 sets for the Green & Gold...finished second on the team in kills (237) and kills per set (2.14)...led the Lions in blocks with 82 (23 solo, 59 assists)...recorded a season-high .600 hitting percentage at Arkansas-Monticello on Sept. 13...recorded 16 kills vs. Ouachita Baptist in Pittsburg, Kan. on Sept. 6...tallied seven blocks (one solo, six assists) vs. Lindenwood on Oct. 5.
2012 - Started all 30 games at middle hitter as a freshman for the Lions...led Southern in blocks with 60 (7 solo, 53 assists), including a season-high six against Arkansas-Ft. Smith while tying for second on the squad in kills with 149...finished fifth on the team in service aces with 12 while also recording 27 digs on the year.
Prior to Southern - A four-year starter for the Lady Falcons, Graves was an All-Conference selection in both her junior and senior seasons, while earning All-District honors as a senior and an All-Region nod, as well. The single-season record holder at GHS for blocks (106) and attacks (280), Graves also started four seasons on the basketball court.
Personal - The daughter of Chris Graves and Melissa Middlemas, Payton plans to major in dental hygiene at Southern.
