Biography

2015 - White saw action in 28 matches with 20 starts in 2015 ... She averaged 1.60 kills per set and 0.60 blocks per set wtih 52 total blocks on the season ... had 11 kills and hit .500 in a match against Arkansas Tech ... Had six blocks against Midwestern State and five blocks against Nebraska-Kearney ... A member of the MIAA's Academic Honor Roll.

2014 - White started 23 matches for the Lions in 28 appearances... Recorded 128 kills (1.32 per set average), seven assists, 14 digs, and 67 total blocks (10 solo, 57 assisted)... Tallied her season high 10 kills three times (Lindenwood, twice against Central Oklahoma)... Set her high block total with 8.0 (one solo, seven assisted) in an October match against Northwest Missouri... Named All-MIAA Academic Honor Roll with a 3.62 GPA.

2013 - As a freshman played in 12 matches for the Lions...tallied 12 kills and eight block assists on the season...had season-highs four kills against Lindenwood (Oct. 5) and three block assists against Missouri Western (Oct. 4).

Prior to Southern - White comes to Southern after three years as a starter on both the volleyball and basketball teams at Gravette High School ... She played volleyball under coach Robin Cannon where she was a middle blocker and middle hitter combo ... A two-time All-Conference and All-State selection in volleyball, she helped the Lions of Gravette to a conference championship as a senior where she was also named to the state tournament All-Tournament team ... As a basketball player, she was the school's Defensive Player of the Year as a junior and was named to the KURM Dream Team as a senior. 

Personal - The daughter of Roger and Melissa White, Monica plans to major in education at Southern.
