2018 - Appeared in 18 matches and made starts in five of them as one of eight players to see action in every contest … logged 664 minutes of playing time while she recorded a goal and an assist to closer out junior season for the Lions … scored the lone goal versus Drury (9/2) and then provided an assist for the Lions first goal towards a 2-2 draw with No. 8 Central Missouri (9/30) … part of a team that go off to the program’s best start through ten games (6-2-2).

2017 - Played 17 and started six matches in her sophomore year and first season with the Lions...scored two goals on four shots on goal in 614 minutes of play at forward. 

Prior to Southern – Edwards saw action in three games during her redshirt freshman season at California State University-Los Angeles. She did not compete in any games for the Golden Eagles and was a redshirt in 2015. Edwards was a four-year letter winner in soccer for Colony HS. Scored 30 goals in 88 varsity games, including 14 during her sophomore season.

Personal – Jessica is the daughter of Terence Edwards and Jeannie Edwards and plans to major in biology at Southern.
