HS: Prepped at Shawnee Mission West for coach Sarah Gonzalez where she was a four-year letter winner and was named an All-Sunflower League honorable mention selection, while helping them to a regional championship runner-up finish. A three-time Honor Roll student who is also a Stucco representative at Shawnee Mission West.

Club: Played for KC Fusion Academy 03/04 for coach Carlos Rodriguez where has been a five-time All-NPL team member and been a State Cup runner-up three years in a row and a USA Futsal National Champion. 

Personal: Zia is the younger sister of current Lion Joelie Riley and is the daughter of Kristen Sells and Kevin Riley and the stepdaughter of Bre Riley. Has a brother Kale and another sister Charlotte along with two dogs.
