In 2010: As a junior Shannon provided leadership for the Lions in the midfield, starting in all 18 of Southern's matches...Shannon recorded a team high eight points on the season with three goals and two assists...her three goals came in a 4-1 rout of the Emporia State Hornets in Joplin on Sept. 11, the lone goal in a 1-1 tie with the Washburn Lady Blues in Joplin on Oct. 9, and the lone goal in a 1-1 tie with the Emporia State Hornets in Emporia, Kan. on Oct. 14...Kuhn's two assists came in a 3-4 double overtime loss to the Southwest Baptist Bearcats in Joplin on Oct. 7 and on the game winning goal in a 1-0 win over the Missouri Western Griffions in Joplin on Oct. 30.

In 2009: Appeared in all 20 matches for the Lions, starting 19...taking eight shots with one goal. one assists and four shots on goal.

In 2008: Appeared in every match as a true freshman for the Lions, including three starting assignments ... recorded the assist on the game-winning goal in the Lions' season-opening 2-1 double-overtime victory over Abilene Christian (8/29/08) ... had seven shot-attempts and two shots-on-goal.

In high school:Earned a secon-team all-conference selection at Wentzville H.S. ... was the team's leading scorer for three seasons, along with leading the squad in assists for three years ... also received an Academic Award for three consecutive years.

Personal: Major is biology ... born May 30, 1990 ... daughter of Dr. Robert Kuhn and Dr. Mary Kathleen Kuhn.
