Ayala prepped at Bentonville High School, where she competed in soccer for the Tigers. A four-year varsity letterwinner, she earned 6A West All-Conference honors and was selected to compete in the 6A West All-State Game. Ayala helped Bentonville capture three 6A West Conference championships and two state championships during her career.
