Biography

2017 - Played in 16 matches while starting three of them on at forward as a freshman...one of 15 lions to land on the MIAA Academic Honor roll (3.82 GPA)...tied for second on the team in assists (1) and added two shots in 445 minutes played.  

Prior to Southern – Faiazza prepped at St. Thomas More Catholic Secondary School in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada. Faiazza was a four-year starter in both indoor and outdoor soccer for the Knights of St. Thomas More. Mara was a team captain for both indoor and outdoor soccer all four years while earning two MVP medals for the Knights. Faiazza also played four years of volleyball for St. Thomas More as a Libero.
 
Personal – Mara is the daughter of Marco and Paula Faiazza and plans to major in biology/pre-veterinarian at Southern.
