Ashleigh Cade

Cade enters the 2018 season in her first year as assistant coach of the Missouri Southern women’s soccer team under head coach Chris McNaughton.
 
She was a four-year student athlete for the University of Louisiana Ragin Cajuns, playing forward against competition from the Sun Belt Conference. During her four years (2014-17), Cade accumulated nine goals and 23 assists for 41 total points in 75 matches played, including 55 starts on the front line.
 
Cade also led the SBC and finished third nationally in assists (11) through a 19-game season in 2016, while earning conference Offensive Player of the Week in 2017.
 
Before heading off to college in Louisiana, Cade played three years splitting time at forward and midfielder for the Bonney Lake High School Panthers in. The Washington State native recorded 24 goals and 24 assists over the course of three seasons, assisting the Panthers to the round of eight in 2012 and round of 16 in 2013, earning her SPSL 3A All-League first-team status (2011-13) and All-State honorable mention as a junior.
 
Cade left UL with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration as well as the programs all-time leader in assists and went on to spend two seasons as part of the Chattanooga FC Women’s club team on defense (2017-18).
