Biography

Prior to Southern - Marquez was a four-year letter winner for the Tigers of Carthage High School under Head coach Beck Bayless … scored a career-high 18 goals in her junior season on her way to landing on the first-team All-Conference squad after kicking in a combined 27 shots past the goalkeeper as a sophomore (12) and freshman (15) where she added a spot on the second-team All-Conference team in her second season … ran cross country as well for all four years and recorded a time of 6:10 in the mile run and 13:04 in two miles while being name the Most Valuable Runner twice and becoming a three-time Golden Boot and Ball recipient.

Personal - daughter of Mireya and Manuel Marquez and plans to major in wildlife biology at Southern.
