Missouri Southern State University Athletics

2017 - Played in 17 matches while starting 12 of them in between forward and center-midfield in her freshman season...tied for second on the team in goals scored with two, both game winners in shut-out victories against Nebraska-Kearney and Central Oklahoma, on four shots towards the net in 782 minutes registered. 

Prior to Southern – Gamez was a three-time letter winner at forward/midfielder for the Minutemen of Maranatha HS and coach Rob Gurule. Gamez helped the Minutemen to an Olympic League championship in 2015 and a California Interscholastic Federation (CIF) State Regional Division IV Championship as well in 2015. Gamez also lettered in cross country where she was a first team All-Conference selection her sophomore season and a second team selection during her senior year.

Personal – Andrea is the daughter of Gabriela Cuevas and Martin Gamez and plans to major in kinesiology at Southern.
