2015 - Torres competed in six events for the Lions in 2015 ... one of the top runners she had two top-ten finishes, including a fourth-place finish at Missouri S&T and a sixth place finish at Southwest Baptist ... She finished 13th at the MIAA Championships to earn All-MIAA honors, while finishing 22nd at the NCAA Division II Central Region Championships to earn All-Region honors. 

Prior to Southern - Torres trasnfered to Southern from Golden West College in California where she was a member of the track and field team ... Torres prepped at Los Amigos High School in Huntington Beach, Calif. 

Personal - Torres is the daughter of Alma Lopez ... She is an education major at Southern.
