2015 - As a freshman, Lin ran in five events ... She had a 24th place finish at Southwest Baptist, as well as a 23rd place finish at Missouri S&T ... Her top 5k time came at the Southern Stampede where she traversed the course in a time of 19:47.2. 

Prior to Southern - Lin prepped at Gallatin High School in Gallatin, Mo. where she was a four-year letter winner in softball, basketball, and track and field ... Lin owns the GHS school records in the 4x800m relay, the 400m, 800m, 4x400m relay and 4x200m relay ... She helped her 4x800m relay team to a state championship as a sophomore, and a second place finish in both her junior and senior campaigns ... In all, Lin was a eight-time medalist at the Missouri State Championships ... In softball, Lin was a four-time first-team All-Conference and All-District selection, earning All-State honors as a senior ... Lin holds the school record for highest single-season batting average at .507 ... On the bsketball court, she was a three-time All-Conference selection, earning All-State honors as a senior. 

Personal - Lin is the daughter of Rick and Lesli Lin ... Her parents were both collegiate athletes with her dad playing basketball at Graceland University and her mother running track at Central Missouri ... She plans to major in business at Southern.
