Missouri Southern State University Athletics

Prior to Southern
Stemmons transferred to Missouri Southern from NCAA Division I institution Southern Illinois University Edwardsville (SIUE) where she spent her freshman campaign. She appeared in 10 games over the 2025-26 season with the Cougars, making the starting lineup for one game. Stemmons had six rebounds and three steals, and a career-high 13 points, against Calumet College (Dec. 4, 2025). She helped cut the deficit against Western Illinois (Feb. 28, 2026) adding six points in the final minute of play.

Stemmons graduated from Hickman High School in 2025 where she played volleyball, basketball and ran track. Her senior year she helped guide her team to a 19-14 overall record. This was the best record since the 2015-16 season. Recognized as All-District Central Missouri Media, All-State, All-CMAC first team, All conference CMAC second team and All-district. Played for the Missouri Phenom.

Personal
Sy'Rae, the daughter of Miranda Daniels and Jason Stemmons, plans to major in Nursing at Southern. Miranda played college basketball at Central Methodist University. Sy'Rae also has a younger sister, London, who she is very close with and a cat, Thomas.
