Prior to Southern
Anderson comes to Missouri Southern after an outstanding career at Dale High School in Oklahoma. A standout point guard, she earned all-state honors while helping establish herself as one of the state's top players. Anderson finished her prep career as a 1,000-point scorer and averaged 10.6 points, 8.0 rebounds, 3.5 assists and 2.2 steals per game. She was named to the prestigious Bertha Teague Tournament All-Tournament Team, earned First Team Tournament of Champions honors while leading the event in rebounds with 33, was selected as the Kingston Tournament MVP, and was recognized as a VYPE Top 100 player during both her junior and senior seasons. Anderson also earned PNTV All-State honors as a junior and senior, was named the PNTV Young Gun 2A Player of the Year, and received OGBCA All-State MVP and Oklahoma Prep Nation All-State honors.

Skylar, the daughter of Jenifer and Ira Anderson, is pursuing a degree in Biomedical Sciences at Southern.
