2018-19 - Appeared in all 30 games while making two starts as a sophomore … one of four Lions to land on the MIAA Academic Honor roll (3.65 GPA) … averaged 2.8 points, 2.6 rebounds, 1.1 assists, and 0.4 steals per game throughout the season … scored a season-high seven points twice versus Rogers State (12/1) and at Nebraska-Kearney (3/2) … secured a season-high eight rebounds in 32 minutes of action at Northeastern State (1/17) … reached a season-best four assists in back-to-back games to end the season at UNK and Central Oklahoma (3/6) … finished third on the team in free-throw percentage (.783) … was part of a defensive unit that limited opponents to a three-point field-goal percentage of .309 for sixth in the MIAA.

2017-18 - Played in 23 while making one start during her freshman season... one of nine players to land on the MIAA Academic Honor roll (3.84 GPA) ... made her lone appearance in the starting lineup in the team's second game of the season ... recorded a season-high 11 points at Harding (11/14)...grabbed a season-best seven rebounds on the road against Lincoln (1/13) ... played over 20 minutes in seven games and double-figure time in 16 contests.

Prior to Southern - Morgan played four years and lettered in all at guard for coach Ron Dunaway at Berryhill HS. During her junior season for the Maidens, she averaged eight points per contest while pulling down five rebounds per game on her way to earning All-Conference honors. Morgan is the daughter of Jamie and Sara Brightwell and is undecided on her future major at Southern. While at BHS, Morgan has maintained a GPA of 3.9 and is ranked fourth in her class. During her senior season Morgan averaged 12.3 ppg, 4.3 rpg, 2 assists per game, 1.9 steals, and 1 block. Brightwell also earned All-Conference honors for the second straight season and earned an All-Northeast Region honor. Morgan also was selected to the All-Tournament team in the Haskell Tournament and was a nominee for the Tulsa World's Ms. Inside.

Personal  - Brightwell is the daughter of Jamie and Sarah Brightwell and plans to major in secondary education at Southern.
