Biography

High School: played as part of the Denmark Youth National Team and is a current member of the Denmark National Team. Her national team experience includes being named the MVP of both the under 16 and under 17  Danish Championship, as well as helping Denmark to the Official Nordic Championship in 2007. Schirmer, prepped at Virum Gymnasium where she averaged 7.5 points, 3.3 rebounds, and 28 minutes per game. She shot 42 percent from beyond the arc.

Personal: The daughter of Jens and Pia Schirmer, Emilie plans on majoring in marketing at Southern.
