2009- Started in all 58 games in her juniorcampaign. Hit .255 with four round trippers and 15 RBI at the dishand also stole eight bags. Finished the season with only eighterrors.
2008: Bax started in all 38 games for the Lionseither at second base or on the mound ... she hit .228 with fourdoubles, two triples a home run and eight RBIs, while going 2-3 onthe basepaths ... on the mound, Bax appeared in 21 games, startingten and recording two complete games ... she had a save and wassecond on the team with 59.2 innings pitched, while striking out30.
2007: Appeared in 16 games in the field, starting ten forthe Lions as a true freshman ... hit .250, scoring four times andcarrying a .364 on base percentage ... Also a pitcher for Southern,Bax appeared in 11 games, starting two ... She led the team with a1.24 ERA in 17 innings pitched, allowing just three earned runs andstriking out 11.
In High School: A three-sport standout for theLinn Wildcats, Kelli amassed a scrapbook full of honors insoftball, basketball and track . . . a three-time team MVP, shetwice won batting average awards with a .487 average, was all-statein 2005, all-region in 2004-05 and all-conference and all-districtall four years . . . was a two-time all-conference and all-districtperformer in basketball and the team MVP and was all-conference andall-district in track two years in a row . . . set team stolen baserecord and tied record in triples and set a basketball record forthe most free throws in a season . . . helped the Wildcats placethird in state softball in 2005 and played a key role in a districtbasketball championship in 2002.
