2009- Was injured just nine games into theseason and was granted a medical red shirt by the NCAA. Throughnine games in 2009, Turner was hitting .385 with three homers andseven runs driven in. Her slugging percentage at the time of herinjury was .962
2008: A returning second-team All-MIAA selection... Turner was a first team selection in both her freshman andsophomore seasons at Southern ... led the Lions in almost everyoffensive category including average (.393), runs (28), hits (46),homers (6), RBIs (23), total bases (71), slugging (.607), on basepercentage (.442) and is second in walks (10) and third in doubles(5) ... ranked sixth in the MIAA in hitting and fifth in home runs... put herself into the record books as well, with her six homeruns in 2008, Turner is now the all-time leader in that categorywith 16 in her three year career at Southern.

Turner led the Lions innumerous offensive categories, including average (.378), hits (37),home runs (6), total bases (64), on base percentage (.496),slugging (.653) and walks (23) ... finished sixth in the MIAA inhitting, while leading the league in walks ... Also ranked fourthin on base percentage and sixth in slugging.
2006: Was one of six Lions to start all 40games in 2006 ... led the Lions in numerous offensive categories,including batting (.364), runs (18), hits (43), triples (3), homeruns (4), slugging (.576), walks (22) and on-base percentage (.464)... was a first-team All-MIAA selection, the lone freshman ...finished second on the team with seven doubles and 16 RBI and pacedthe team with 12 multi-hit games ... her 11-game hitting streak,March 7-25, was also a team season-best ... finished 10th in theMIAA in batting and third in walks ... also a second teamAll-Region selection.
In high school: A four-year starter and a two-timeall-state honoree at Springdale High School under coach KarenWilson ... won the team s batting award twice ... helped hersoftball squad to a state playoff appearance all four years ...also played basketball and participated as a thrower in track &field ... was team MVP and named to the all-academic team inbasketball ... was named the team s outstanding thrower intrack and set a regional record in the shot put.
