Prior to Southern
Perry played the 2022 season at Central Arkansas, appearing in 21 games with eight starts. She finished the season with four hits, four runs, one double, one home run, one sacrifice fly, and three RBIs. At Bentonville High School, she was coached by Kent Early in softball while also competing in volleyball and basketball. As a senior in 2021, Perry was named Player of the Year in Arkansas by Gatorade, All-Preps, USA Today, and the NWA Democrat-Gazette, and was an All-State First-Team selection. She helped lead her team to state championships in 2018 and 2021, a state runner-up finish in 2019, and three conference championships, earning State Tournament MVP honors in 2021. As a senior, she posted a slash line of .490/.553/.950 with 49 hits, 43 runs, 49 RBIs, 16 doubles, and 10 home runs, leading her team to a state title with a 29-3 record. As a sophomore, she slashed .410/.495/.892 with 34 hits, 34 runs, 42 RBIs, 14 doubles, and eight home runs. Perry was also a member of the National Honor Society and was named Colors Day Queen.

Emily, the daughter of Suzie and Steve Perry, is pursuing a degree in Business at Southern.
