Prior to Southern
Tinkler prepped at Blue Valley Southwest in Overland Park, Kan., where she was a three-year letter winner in softball under coaches Shari Schaake and Jessica Wedemeyer. This past season, she helped lead the Timberwolves to an EKL championship, posting a .450 batting average, leading the team in doubles and triples, and finishing second in singles, earning an EKL honorable mention. Tinkler also received a Gold Glove award in 2021 and was named the Offensive Crunch Player in 2019. In addition to softball, she qualified for the state golf tournament three times and was a two-year letter winner in basketball.
