2015 - Coleman played in and started 46 games for Southern...had her best season at the plate hitting .254 with 11 runs scored, three doubles, and three home runs...Coleman opened the 2015 season with a 3-for-5 performance that included a double, a two run home run, and five RBIs as the Lions defeated host Ouachita Baptist 11-9...her second home run of the season, a three run shot, came in the top of the first at MIAA rival Pittsburg State...her third home run of the season came at 11th ranked Emporia State, a solo shot, in the top of the second.
2014 - Coleman appeared in 21 games for the Lions as a sophomore starting 16 games behind the plate hitting .111 from the plate collecting four hits while scoring a run and driving in a pair of runs...Notched 50 putouts and six assists...Went 1-for-2 and scored a run in a win over Lindenwood...Named to MIAA Academic Honor Roll.
2013 -Â Redshirted the season after recovering from injury.
2012 -Â Making 26 appearances for the Lions as a true freshman, including 17 starts at designated hitter hit .182 on the year with 10 hits in 55 at-bats. Was one of five Lions with a perfect 1.000 fielding percentage while recording 31 putouts on the year.
Prior to Southern -Â was both an All-Conference and All-District selection at catcher for Coach Jacqui Conn and the Spoofhounds of Maryville High her senior year.
Personal -Â A Biology Major at Southern...born July 29, 1993 in Maryville, Mo...daughter of Tim and Karma Coleman...has one sister, Ann...father Tim played football at MIAA rival Northwest Missouri State and mother Karma played softball for the Bearcats.
