Dimitroff begins his first season on the coaching staff of the Missouri Southern men’s basketball team in 2024-25, bringing extensive experience across multiple levels of basketball. A native of Livonia, Michigan, Dimitroff began his career as a student manager at Missouri State University, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Marketing in 2019. He later completed his MBA at the University of Montevallo in 2021.
At Wallace State Community College, he served as both an assistant coach and interim head coach, leading the team to a 24-7 record and an Alabama Community College Conference North Division title in his first season. During his tenure, he coached standout player Demarkus Lampley, who became the second-leading scorer in the nation.
At Marion Military Institute, Dimitroff excelled as an assistant coach and recruiting coordinator. His contributions helped the program achieve back-to-back playoff appearances for the first time since 2018. He also facilitated the transfer of nine student-athletes to four-year schools, including two to Division I programs, and signed four All-Conference players.
In addition, Dimitroff gained valuable experience with the Birmingham Squadron, focusing on player development and defensive analytics, and at the University of Montevallo, where he contributed to scouting, recruiting coordination, and practice planning. His diverse background demonstrates his ability to foster player development and contribute to team success at every level.
Dimitroff is married to Abigail Dimitroff and continues to dedicate his career to cultivating success both on and off the court for his players and programs.
