A four-year letter winner in football, Darter finished his senior season with 35 receptions for 310 yards in just three games ... A honorable mention All-Conference pick as a sophomore, Darter was a first-team pick as a junior and senior, as well as being a two-time All-Area and an All-District pick ... Darter helped Mount Vernon to an undefeated conference season in 2019, as well as helping the Mt'Neers to a second-place finish in the 2019 Missouri State Football Championship ,,, Darter also lettered three times in basketball and baseball.
