2014 - Osburn played 48 games with 46 starts as catcher and DH... Hit .297 for the season with an OBP of .378... Was second on the team in walks (21) and struck out only 12 times while driving in 23 runs on 46 hits... Was perfect in a 10-1 win over Minnesota-Crookston, going 4-4 with 1 RBI... Went 3-4 in back-to-back games against Fort Hays State, combining for 3 runs scored and 2 RBI... Hit 3-4 against College of the Ozarks, brining in one run and scoring 2... Led the team in both putouts (252) and fielding percentage (.980).

2013 - Osburn sat out most of the 2013 season with an injury ... In action at the beginning of the season, he hit .400 in three games with a pair of doubles and three RBIs. 

Prior to Southern - As a freshman at Seminole, Osburn hit .220 in 23 games, while scoring 13 runs and driving in ten. Prior to Seminole, Osburn prepped at Broken Arrow High School and played for coach Shannon Dobson where he started for three years, earning four letters for the Tigers. As a senior, he hit .380, while earning All-Metro, All-State and Under Armor All-American honors. He helped his team to three regional championships and three trips to the state semi-finals.

Personal - The son of Jeff and Miriam Osburn, Mitch plans to major in criminal justice at Southern.
